07/28/2022 12:34 PMPhyllis Saturno DellaCamera of Branford died July 25 at Branford Hills Health Care Center. She was the beloved wife of Alfred DellaCamera of Branford. Phyllis was born in New Haven, March 25, 1936, daughter of the late Pasquale and Pasqualina DeFrancesco Saturno.
She was a lifelong resident of Branford and a graduate of Branford High School. She worked in the Naturalization Office at the U. S. Federal Court in New Haven for many years until retiring. She then worked at Branford Hills Health Care Center until retiring.
She was a wonderful, friendly woman who enjoyed traveling, shopping, and especially, spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her. Besides Fred, she is survived by her sons, Frederick and John DellaCamera, both of Branford; her granddaughters, Jessica, Juliana, and Elaina; her brother Pasquale Saturno Jr. of Branford and her sister Rose DeMartino of Branford. She was predeceased by her son Richard DellaCamera and her brother Salvatore Saturno.
Friends celebrated a Mass of Christian Burial on July 27 at St. John Bosco Parish in St. Mary Church, 731 Main Street, Branford. Burial followed at St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford. There were no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Branford Hills Health Care Center Recreation Fund, 189 Alps Road, Branford, CT 06405.
