Marvin Casey Jr.

Marvin Casey Jr., longtime resident of Guilford, passed away peacefully at his home on July 19. Marvin was born in New Haven, on June 20, 1959, son of Anna Marie (Wasinger) Casey and the late Marvin Casey. He was the loving father of Nicole Casey; and step-father of Crystal Handy; brother of Peter Casey and his wife Susan and William Casey and his wife Amelia. He is also survived by nieces, Jennifer Casey and Ashley Rhode and her husband Chris; and nephews, Michael Casey and Kristopher Casey. He was predeceased by Shawn Casey.

Marvin graduated from Guilford High School. He worked as a material handler for NAPA and as a grounds keeper for Guilford Lakes Golf Course. He enjoyed golfing with his friends at Guilford Lakes and spending time with his nephew Mike. Marvin and Mike would watch the Yankees and NASCAR and talk about sports for hours.
