07/28/2022 12:33 PMJosephine (Zaremba) Koritkoski, 98, passed away at her home on July 20. Beloved wife of the late Henry B. Koritkoski who died in 1980; and daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Kurek) Zaremba, she was a lifelong resident of Deep River, and graduated from Deep River High School. After marrying Henry, they raised two sons and were very active in all their sports.
Josephine was a longtime member of the Polish Falcons Club, loved the dances at the Sobieski and Falcon Clubs, and enjoyed her favorite band, the Happy Travelers. She will also be remembered for never having an unkind word said about anyone.
Josephine is survived by her sons, Henry P. (wife Donna) Koritkoski of Middletown, and Paul J. Koritkoski of Deep River; her sister Stella Bump; and brother Paul Zaremba; her five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings: John, Mary, Helen, Anthony, Joseph, Victor, and Dorothy, some of whom she cared for until their deaths.
Visiting were on July 27, at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street, Centerbrook. The funeral Mass followed at St Joseph Church in Chester with internment at parish cemetery.
