07/21/2022 11:48 AMAngeline (Grieco) Walicki, 95, of Madison died peacefully July 10 surrounded by her loving family. Angie was born Nov. 28, 1926 in New Britain, the daughter of the late Mary and Nunzio Grieco.
Angie grew up in New Britain and graduated from New Britain High School. She worked for Stanley Works. In 1950, she married Walter Walicki and raised her family in New Britain before moving to Middle Beach in Madison.
Angie’s greatest love in her life was her family and her friends. She was a regular at the Madison Senior Center for many decades. She was a tiny and always laughing woman.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Walter; and brothers, Peter, Mike, Jim; and sister Stella. Angie is survived by her son Thomas of Madison; and many nieces and nephews.
A cemetery service was held at Fairview Cemetery at her husband’s site in New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Red Cross.
