Carol Ann Fadel, 74, of Branford died on June 12 at Connecticut Hospice, after a brief illness. Carol was born on May 16, 1948, in New Haven. She graduated from The Middlesex Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1969. She had a long career as a registered nurse. Prior to her retirement, she was an evening supervisor at Evergreen Woods.

She was predeceased by her parents Conrad and Lois (Hansen) Fadel. She is survived by two sisters, Patricia (Terry) Kron of Madison and Jean (George) Grubb of Allentown, Pennsylvania, and one brother, Robert (Kathryn) Fadel of Branford. She is also survived by four nephews, Jeffrey, Brian, Kevin, and Anthony; three nieces, Pamela, Christine, and Sarah; and two great-nieces. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Jillian.

Her family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to her friend, Florence Bertholet, for everything she had done for Carol.
