Peter J. Alling of Branford died on June 11 at Connecticut Hospice. Peter was born on Nov. 24, 1953, in New Haven, a son of the late Roger and Cecilia Berk Alling.

He was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, where he made many long-lasting friendships. He worked as a computer consultant for many years prior to retiring. He was a longtime mason and a past master of Trumbull Lodge No. 22 of New Haven.

Peter is survived by his brother Thomas (Sharon) Alling of Branford.
