Guilford

Thomas Rollinson “Tom” Little, 83, of Guilford, beloved husband for 50 years to Karen Laub Little, passed away at home on June 7. Born in Waterbury, he was the son of the late Joseph Little and Ruth (Rollinson) Little.

After graduating from Lehigh University, Tom joined the U.S. Army before enjoying a long career as a designer for the Waterbury Buckle and Tag Company. Tom was known for his wealth of valuable information that he loved to share along with his witty sense of humor. He loved the water, sailing, lighthouses, and Scotch. He also enjoyed his hunt for the best lobster roll in Connecticut and a nice cool beer after mowing his lawn. Tom didn’t think twice about lending a hand, especially when it involved the garden.

He is survived by his wife Karen; their four sons John Laub and his wife Daniela of New Haven, Thomas Little of Fairfield, Brian Little and his wife Danielle of Cromwell, and Michael Laub of Waco, Texas; and his eight loving grandchildren Linda, Ronny, Ivanna, Stephen, Kaitlyn, Isabel, Vincent, and John Thomas. He will also be missed by his puppies, Riley and Charlie.

Friends are invited to visitation hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church Street, Guilford. Burial services will be held privately. In memory of Tom, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 https://www.cancer.org. To share a memory or leave condolences, visit www.guilfordfuneralhome.com.
