Christopher William Gozzi, lifelong resident of Guilford and most recently of Madison, passed away on May 9 at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Christopher was born in New Haven on Dec. 10, 1987, son of William E. Gozzi and Lindsey (Williams) Gozzi. He was the brother of Matthew S. Gozzi and soulmate of Kristine Valente.

He is also survived by his grandparents William and Mary Gozzi and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by grandparents Sharpe and Jean Williams.

Christopher was a graduate of Oxford Academy; he was the owner of Gozzi Tree Service and a lifelong vital part of Gozzi Turkey Farm.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, working on his cars and motorcycles, snow skiing, and waterskiing, and above all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He lived life to the fullest and touched the lives of many people, young and old. Chris was a great friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all.

Friends called on May 13 in the Guilford Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on May 14 in St. George Church, Guilford. Burial followed in St. George Cemetery, Guilford.
