East Haven

Margaret “Peggy” Langan, 74, of East Haven, passed away on Feb. 12 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born Aug. 4, 1947, in New Haven, to Francis X. and Shirley (McLay) Langan. Margaret is survived by her love of her life Lou Rizzuto of East Haven and her daughter Kristen Langan (Dominick) of North Haven, along with two grandchildren, Tyler Luedee and Jaden Luedee of North Haven. She is also survived by her siblings Tom (Janice) Langan, Fran (Bill) Cook, Debbie (Bill) Mosher, and Glenn (Marlise) Langan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Peggy worked as a legal secretary for many years. She mostly enjoyed going to her grandson’s games. Peggy was always laughing and had a smile on her face. She had the biggest heart and the biggest blue eyes you’ve ever seen.

Family and friends are invited to meet and attend at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 28, a Mass of Christian burial in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 80 Taylor Avenue, East Haven. Burial will be private. Funeral services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Avenue, East Haven. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to breast cancer research.
