Peggy-Ann Kjos of Killingworth and formerly of Clinton passed away peacefully on Feb. 9. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years Floyd H. Kjos, who passed in 2011.

She is survived by her children Rachel (Ken) Worster of Maine, Robert (Hana) Tyler of Woodbury, Rhonda Tyler (David Skrainski) of Old Saybrook, Russell (Linda) Kjos of Clinton, and Aaron Kjos of Norwich; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and brothers Frank (Pat) Marquis of Southington and Mark Marquis of Deep River. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Alvinna Martel of North Dakota and Jeanne Kjos of Ohio, brothers-in-law Genhard (Sylvia) Kjos of Montana and John (Colleen) Kjos of North Dakota, several nieces and nephews, and her best friend of 55 years Josephine Appleby of Westbrook.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Essex Meadows Healthcare and VNA Hospice for their compassionate care and family support. A private memorial will be held by the family.
