Kathleen Turbert Ferrara of Branford died on Jan. 16, after a long battle with cancer. Kathleen was born Dec. 23, 1952, in New Haven, a daughter of the late Francis and Hollie Sangree Turbert. She had worked for area medical groups for several years prior to retiring. She loved the beach, dancing around to her favorite songs, and monarch butterflies. She always loved Christmas with her family and enjoyed making it special for them.

She is survived by her daughter Kristina (Christopher) Carbone of North Branford. She was predeceased by her daughter Nicole Ferrara and her sisters Eileen Tornburg and Dottie Turbert.

Relatives and friends may attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22, in St. Ambrose Parish at St. Augustine Church, Caputo Road, North Branford. There are no calling hours and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
