Diane Ciranna, longtime resident of Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York and most recently of Madison, passed away on Dec. 31, 2021, at The Hearth at Tuxis Pond.

Diane was born in Brooklyn, New York on Feb. 3, 1942, daughter of the late Benny (Sebastian) and Leonore (Block) Ciranna. She is survived by her sister Carol LaPera, brother-in-law Tony LaPera, nephew Chris LaPera and his wife Ewa, all of Long Island, New York; and cousins Linda Rizzuto of Guilford and Frank Rizzuto of New York, New York.

Diane was a warm and caring person, fun-loving and witty. She had a smile for everyone. Diane’s friends and family were most important to her. She enjoyed her home and, of course, shopping! She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at the Chapel at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, Long Island, New York.
