Donata “Deena” Cirillo of Branford died on Dec. 11, 2021, at Connecticut Hospice in Branford.

She was the sister of Licia Cirillo of Branford. She is also survived by her nephew and godson Ralph Cirillo, Jr., her niece Linda Cirillo, her great-niece Peyton Cirillo, and her great-nephews Brandon and Clayton Cirillo. She was predeceased by her brother, Ralph Cirillo, Sr.

Deena was born in New Haven on Sept. 25, 1928, a daughter of Gennaro and Lucia Crescenti Cirillo. She was a lifelong Branford resident and worked as a bookkeeper in the area for many years.
