David R. Tracy, Sr., 73, of Branford passed away peacefully Dec. 25, 2021, at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Jane Tracy.

David was born May 25, 1948, in Caribou, Maine to the late Delmer and Beatrice Hardgrove Tracy. He served honorably in the United States Army and worked as an electrician at Pratt & Whitney for more than 40 years. David was a jack of all trades and always looked out for his family.

In addition to his wife Jane, David is survived by his children Dave (Jolene) Tracy, Kimberly (Stephen) McCarroll, and Mike (Tiffany) Tracy and grandchildren Alexandria, Colin, Peyton, Taylor, Kaylee, Trent, and Aidan Tracy. He is also survived by his siblings Delmer (Patricia) Tracy, Paul Tracy, Sr., Randy Tracy, Sr., Denise Tracy, and Betty (Kenneth) Laux. He was predeceased by his sisters Josephine Biesler and Donna Bailey.

Relatives and friends visited on Jan. 3 at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, Branford. Burial with military honors followed in Tabor Cemetery, Branford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
