Pauline Bengston Combe, 96, of Old Saybrook, beloved wife of Henry Leo Combe, passed away peacefully on Nov. 30 at Apple Rehab in Old Saybrook.

She was born Nov. 19, 1925, in Portland, the daughter of Oscar and Edith Johnson Bengston.

Pauline was a kind and caring person who loved being surrounded by her family.

Besides her husband Henry of 73 years, she is survived by her three children, Bruce Henry Combe of Middletown, Nancy Darrow Croft and her husband Jerry of Old Saybrook, and Diane Salvatore and her husband Joey of Westbrook.
