Barbara M. Feiner died peacefully on Nov. 22 after 95 wonderful years, now resting in a well-deserved heavenly peace. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Class of 1944 Rogers High School, Newport, Rhode Island. She sttended St. John’s in Newport, Rhode Island and St. Andrew’s in Madison, where she served on the Vestry and Altar Guild and help start the church’s thrift shop. Loved her family very much, was always helping family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved children Katherine (Donald) Carten, Rebecca Adams, Thomas (Diana) Feiner, Elizabeth Feiner, Ann (Kyle) Klumpp, Matthew Feiner, and Mark (Heather) Feiner; grandchildren Larena Sherman, Nicole Plourde, Jen Adams, Frederick Adams, Brittany Porkka, Lauren Simpson, Ashley Klumpp, Mason Feiner, and Samuel Feiner; and great-grandchildren Tana, Wilder, Jacob, Madison, Noah and Hardin. She is also survived by niece Susan Faerber Kelchner and nephews Andrew Faerber, Paul Faerber, and Gregory Dawley. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Marion and W.S.H. Dawley; sister Georgianna Dawley Faerber; brother W.S.H. Dawley Jr.; and husbands Alfred F. Feiner and George Gallipeau.

In lieu of flowers, do something nice for someone you love and remember how important your mom’s love and support was in helping you become the person you are today. Donations are suggested to St. Michael’s Memorial Fund, 210 Church Street, Naugatuck, CT 06770. A service will be held in Connecticut in the spring.
