Rosalie (Muzer) Krny, 96, longtime resident of Clinton, passed away peacefully on Nov. 4. The beloved wife of 75 years of Matthew George Krny, Rosalie was born in Madison on June 19, 1925, daughter of the Adam J. Muzer and Rosalia (Schwab) Muzer.

She was the loving mother of George Krny and his wife Margaret of Clinton and Sally Mascitelli and her husband Thomas of Trumbull and sister of Adam Muzer, Jr., Joseph Muzer, Frank Muzer, John Muzer, Fred Muzer, Katherine Fuchs and Anna Schumann. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Lisa (Erric) Moretti, Dr. Matthew (Stormy) Mascitelli, Sherry (Brian) Timmeny, and Ryan (Elisa) Prucnal, and six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother and a sister.

Prior to retirement, Mrs. Krny worked at Chesebrough-Ponds for more than five years. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Mary of the Visitation Church at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA Community Healthcare and Hospice, 753 Boston Post Rd, #200, Guilford, CT 06437.
