North Haven

Paul Andrew Falcigno, 90, of North Haven, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Oct. 24.

He was born July 20, 1931, son of the late Michael and Josephine DeMaio Falcigno and brother of the late Agnes D’Eugenio, Margaret Dalena, Ann D’Eugenio, and Helen Ardito. Paul proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy (USS Strickland DE-333) during the Korean War and was a dedicated teacher for 37 years at Wilbur Cross High School in New Haven.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Eunice Bonfiglio Falcigno; his children, Brett Falcigno and Stacy (Mark) Castiglione; and his grandsons, Matthew and Steven Castiglione, whom he cherished and loved greatly.

“Do not be sad and weep for me. Let the beauty of the sunrise fill your soul. Listen to the music of the earth when the wind and ocean waves sing their song. Enjoy wine with your love ones while the moonbeams dance about you. Someday when God deems it, we shall meet on the other side of the rainbow where demons of the world shall be never more.” — Paul A. Falcigno

Family and friends are invited at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 10, to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a random act of kindness in honor of Paul. For his online obituary, please visit www.northhavenfuneral.com.
