Sharon I. Hosley, a longtime resident of Guilford, passed away peacefully on Oct. 27, in the comfort of her home and family following a valiant battle with cancer. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, on Aug. 10, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Charlotte Doolittle Fagan. She was the beloved wife of Richard M. Hosley. She discovered her love for ceramics at an early age and soon became passionate with clay art, eventually owning her own pottery studio and business in Branford. She was well-known in the art community and often donated her art to various local causes in the community.

Her greatest happiness came when she was surrounded by her family and friends and was always finding a reason to celebrate. Sharon strived to enjoy every moment of life and brought joy to so many through her art. She had a love for global travel and organized many family lake house adventures.
