Guilford

Wilda (O’Donnell) Hall, longtime resident of Guilford and most recently of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away on Oct. 18 at Nashua Crossing Community in New Hampshire. She was the wife of the late John Henry Hall. Wilda was born in New Haven on Jan. 18, 1926, daughter of the late Robert O’Donnell and Clara (Cunningham) O’Donnell.

She was the loving mother of John Hall and his wife Diane of Manville, RId, Cynthia Dearden (deceased) and her husband Robert of Georges Mills, New Hampshire, David Hall and his wife Susan of Guilford, Allison Barnes and her husband John of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Dan Hall and his wife Linda of Hudson, New Hampshire. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Wilda was sister of Robert O’Donnell, Hulett Horne, Claire Mason, Eleanor O’Donnell, and Matelyn Cannon.

Before retirement, Wilda worked for many years at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown as a registered nurse and also worked at various Guilford doctor offices. She enjoyed painting, crafts, travel, singing, and volunteering for community activities.

Friends are invited to a graveside service at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, in North Guilford Cemetery, 159 Ledge Hill Road, Guilford.
