Elissa Rallo Banks of Guilford passed away peacefully on Sept. 24 at the age of 60, surrounded by her beloved family.

Elissa was born in Stamford, Sept. 2, 1961, to John Anthony and Catherine Rallo. After graduating from Southern Connecticut State University, Elissa worked for many years in the corporate relocation field before becoming a loving mother and homemaker.

Elissa is survived by her husband Randy, daughter Catherine, and son Nathanial as well as brothers Joseph, John-Peter, and Christopher Rallo.

Elissa will always be remembered for her heroic and courageous lifelong battle with congenital heart disease and her loving and uncanny ability to connect with and bring cheer to all the various people whose paths she crossed in her life. The very large number of people who consider themselves as friends is a testament to her.
