Guilford

Lindsey B. Hopkins, 42, of Guilford, passed away suddenly on July 22. She was born Dec. 5, 1978, in New Britain. She attended Madison Public Schools, the Whitewood School in Branford, and graduated from Guilford High School in 1997.

Lindsey was the daughter of Catharine W. Hopkins of Madison and the late Douglas B. Hopkins. She is survived by her daughter, Emilie M. Albert of Northford; her brother, Walker R. Hopkins of Madison; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Lindsey had a huge caring heart. She loved to make people laugh and was always helping others in any way she could. Last year, during the pandemic, she made face masks for those who needed them. Lindsey also had an eye for art and was very creative.

A reception for friends and family will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 11, at The Madison Winter Club, 251 Boston Post Road, Madison. The burial will be private.
