Frances E. Noonan, longtime resident of Guilford passed away peacefully on July 10 at St. Raphael Hospital. The wife of Robert P. Noonan, Mrs. Noonan was born in New Haven on Aug. 6, 1932, daughter of the late William Koelle and Josephine (Stoddard)

She was the loving mother of Barbara Dill and her husband Jackson of North Caroline and the late Robert W. Noonan. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law JoAnn Noonan; four grandchildren, Jennifer Kaman, Amy Lope, Kevin Castanheira, and Robert Noonan; and three great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Kaelyn Kaman and Isabella Lope. She was predeceased by two sisters, Ann Torello and Jane O’Leary.

Before retirement, Frances had worked as an administrative assistant for JBT Instruments. She enjoyed vacationing in Maine and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated July 14, in St. George Church, Guilford followed by burial at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to St. Jude Children’s 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; https://www.stjude.org.
