Deep River

Angela M. Watrous, 46, of Deep River passed away June 27, suddenly in a tragic accident in upstate New York.

She was the beloved wife of Gregory L. Watrous, to whom she was married 20 years and who were constant companions for more than 26 years. She was the daughter of the late Lorraine Darcy (stepfather Leonard Darcy). She is survived by her two beloved children, Alisha M. Watrous and Garrhett L. Watrous. She leaves behind her three sisters, Jeanette Votto, Michelle Santos, and Cynthia Gonzalez, along with many nieces and nephews.

Angela was a talented hairstylist for more than 25 years and part of the Spazzo Salon family for the last 14 years, where she was cherished by her many clients and co-workers. Angela loved to make friends and conversation wherever she was. Her positive attitude and high energy made everyone feel special. Angela enjoyed working out and taking walks with her golden Miss Mollie. Angela will never be forgotten and will be deeply missed by all she touched. As the wife of a police officer, Angela was honored to be part of the police family and enjoyed the commitment and camaraderie of all brother and sister officers.

Relatives and friends visited July 2 at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, Branford. Her funeral service was on July 3 in the Deep River Congregational Church. Burial was private. For her online memorial, see www.wsclancy.com.
