Mark Charles Olovson, 51, of North Branford died suddenly at home on July 3. Mark was born Dec. 12, 1969, son of the late Doris F. and Carl O. Olovson. Mark was predeceased by both parents and his brother, Paul Olovson.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Kaiya Olovson of Guilford; his siblings Gayle Olovson McKernan, Erik Olovson, and Kristen (Richard) Smith, all of North Branford, and Todd (Denise) Olovson of Manzanola, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews. Also, he leaves behind numerous friends whom he considered family.

Mark was a very hard worker throughout his life. He was particularly artistic as a landscaper. The “true” Mark will always be remembered as a guy with a huge heart and an infectious smile.
