Marie C. Delano Notaro, 102, formerly of North Haven, passed away peacefully on May 3 at the Montowese Health & Rehabilitation Center, North Haven. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Notaro. Marie was born in New Haven on Nov. 22, 1918, the daughter of the late Domenico and Demetria Arenia Delano.

She was a member of the North Haven Senior Center and the Red Hatters. She was the mother of Linda Balletto and Marie Tammara (Michael); grandmother of Michelle Rose (Matthew), Holly Verret (Raymond), and April Tibbetts (Lawrence); and great-grandmother of Nicholas and Dylan Balletto, Jarrett and Adrianna Cacopardo, and Amanda Verret and Blake Tibbetts. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Frank Balletto, brothers Nicholas and James Delano, sister Jean Bernardo, and Mayme Sroka.

The visiting hours will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday morning, May 7, at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in Church of the Resurrection, Wallingford. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
