Janet M. Ahern of East Haven passed away May 2 at Connecticut Hospice. She was born on Nov. 4, 1932, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, to the late Margaret E. and Leonard Wyatt.

Janet is survived by her daughter Susan Eileen Glossa, grandchildren, Elizabeth Glossa of Branford and Alexander Carnal of Indiana, and great-grandchild James Glossa of Branford. She was predeceased by her former husband Police Chief James F. Ahern of New Haven, daughter Mary Elizabeth Carnal, and grandson James W. Glossa.

A graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 6 at St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford.
