Ralph R. Mirando, 82, of Clinton passed away in the early morning hours of April 10.

Mr. Mirando was born Jan. 29, 1939 in New Haven, to Ralph Joseph and Elizabeth Onofrio Mirando.

Mr. Mirando was the proud father of three sons. He is survived by his sons Kenneth Mirando (Michele) of Madison and Steven Mirando (Susan) of Bellingham, Massachusetts as well as his sister Eileen Coppola (Paul) of Madison. He is predeceased by his son Mark Mirando.

Ralph was a graduate of Hill House High School and he attended the University of New Haven. He served in the U.S. Army. He achieved the position of director of Industrial Engineering for Sony Music. After retirement, he served as the innkeeper at Madison’s Scranton Seahorse Inn.

Ralph was a lover of music and played the keyboard both privately and professionally for most of his life. Everyone who met Ralph will remember him for his unwavering sense of humor and entertaining stories. He had a deep love of family and a strong connection to friends. He was an amazing grandfather of seven and the great-grandfather of two. He took great joy in spending time with them and was always proud of their accomplishments.

A hour of visitation will be held from noon until 1 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021, at Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Road, Madison. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
