Linda Lee Soules Pitts, 70, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on March 29 at Yale New Haven Hospital with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 52 years to Thomas O. Pitts, Jr. Linda was born in New Haven on Oct. 26, 1950, and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Bernice Garthwait Soules.

Linda loved making arts and crafts and selling the things she made. She enjoyed going to the beach and the casino and learning about her family history through Ancestry.com.

She was the mother of Dominic, Tina Marie, Thomas III, and Shaun Pitts; grandmother of Natasha Clark, Shaun, Jr., Jessica, and Jasmine Pitts; great-grandmother of Aiden and Liam Feamster; and sister of Earnest (Doc), John, Dennis, and Elisabeth Soules. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six brothers and sisters.
