Branford

Patricia Sheehan Santoro of Branford died on March 24 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Chester “Chet” Santoro. Patricia was born in Washington, D.C. on May 28, 1948, a daughter of the late Edward Sheehan and Irene Perreault Sheehan.

She had worked as a senior purchasing buyer for Zygo for many years prior to retiring. Patricia was a very giving, passionate person. She was always available to help others, often putting others needs ahead of her own. She loved sports, especially the UConn Huskies. She had been active with the Branford Republican Town Committee.

Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Jeffrey Rick (Matthew Stent) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Rachel McLean of Orlando, Florida, and Ryan Santoro of Branford, and her siblings, Margaret “Peggy” Stamp, John Sheehan, and Jean Malave.

A funeral service was held March 30 in the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, Branford. Burial followed in St. Agnes Cemetery. For her online memorial, see www.wsclancy.com.
