Madison

A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend, Sarah A. Boswell, 25, left this world unexpectedly and peacefully on March 4 in Middletown, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in New Haven on Feb. 19, 1996, Sarah grew up in Madison where she attended Daniel Hand High School and graduated in 2014.

She enjoyed playing lacrosse and being the team captain for the Madison Tigers soccer team. Sarah continued her education at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island and and graduated in 2018 with a bachelor of arts degree in communication and media studies. She also had the pleasure of studying abroad in Ireland. It was an incredible and memorable experience for her.

Family was very important to Sarah. Making memories and spending time with those she loved was one of her favorite things to do. She loved listening to music, going to concerts, long summer days hanging by the pool, and sunny days at the beach with friends.

Sarah was preceded in death by her mother Jill E. (Scherber) Boswell and survived by her father Peter “Bo” C. Boswell, her twin sister Megan C. Boswell, and younger sister Amy T. Boswell.

Her beautiful smile, sweet laugh, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. When you think of Sarah, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.

A memorial celebration of Sarah’s life will be held with friends and family at a later date.
