Branford

Rosemarie Caporale Farina of Branford died on March 6 at Evergreen Woods in North Branford with her family by her side.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Farina. She was the mother of Denise Farina and Diane (Richard) Terrill, both of Branford. Her husband, daughters, and son-in-law meant the world to her.

Rosemarie was born in New Haven on June 10, 1931, the daughter of the late Joseph and Vera Musco Caporale. She graduated from Hillhouse High School in 1949. She worked for the Knights of Columbus, the Squeri Insurance Agency, and the Branford Public School System. Rose loved playing bingo (especially the casino bus trips with the Jolly Timers), entertaining, and always having a pot of coffee ready for those who came by. She also enjoyed spending the winter months in Fort Myers Beach with her husband. In her earlier days, her favorite hobbies were knitting, crocheting, and needlepoint.

She was predeceased by her sister Eleanor Perrelli and also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Evergreen Woods for the wonderful care she received during her final days.
