George H Eccleston was born on Aug. 27, 1928, in Troy New York. He passed away Feb. 12, 2021.

He was predeceased by his parents George and Lucy Eccleston and sisters Lucille and Florence. The beloved husband, father, and Grampy is survived by wife Betty of 22 years, son George (Janet) Eccleston, daughter Linda (Peter) Venuti, 4 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

George was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War serving from 1949 to 1953 as a Russian linguist. He worked for Bethlehem Steel for 25 years. A patriotic man, his greatest honor was serving as an honor guard for military funerals. He was a parishioner of Holy Advent Church in Clinton and a life member of the VFW and American Legion. He was an avid outdoorsman and a true family man.
