Guilford

Nancy Ann Panaroni Federico, 95, longtime resident of Guilford passed away peacefully on Feb. 10. She was the beloved wife of the late Philip Federico. Nancy was born in Branford July 21, 1925, daughter of the late Vincenzo and Dora Marinelli Panaroni.

She was the loving mother of Carol Federico of Guilford and Barbara (Philip) Travisano of Old Saybrook, grandmother of Philip (Teri) Travisano of Sanford, North Carolina and Jonathan (Andrea) Travisano of Old Saybrook, great-grandmother of identical twins Emily and Tessa Travisano of Old Saybrook, and sister of Theresa (Robert) Verni of Ansonia and the late Rita, Fred, Geno, Julius Peter, and William Panaroni. Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.

Nancy owned and operated a family business, Phil’s Egg Farm, in East Haven for more than 28 years. Nancy loved to travel to Florida, Hawaii, and California.

Our family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Artis Senior Living and Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care for the loving and compassionate care she received.

Friends are invited to Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, in St. George Church, 33 Whitfield Street, Guilford. COVID-19 guidelines must be followed; social distancing and face masks must be worn. Burial will follow be held privately. Registration is required at https://stgeorgeguilford.org/reservation-for-daily-mass/. There will be a limit of 100 people in church. For those with no Internet access, you can call into the office at 203-453-2788 x 215. The funeral Mass will also be livestreamed via the St. George Church website.
