June Yale Crouter Chittick died at home surrounded by family on Feb. 5, after a long illness with COPD. Born July 27, 1929, in Burlington, Vermont, June married Robert James Chittick days after their graduation from the University of Vermont in 1952. After Bob was discharged from the Korean War, they started their family in Westport, where they raised three daughters and remained until 1999, when they moved to Guilford.

June was predeceased by her husband Bob, grandson Noah Ginnings, daughter Deborah Chittick Ginnings, and son-in-law Larry Ginnings. She is survived by daughters Cynthia (David) Jackson of Kamas, Utah and Jennifer Chittick of Branford, grandson Blake (Lia) Jackson, and great-grandchildren Beckett and Zinnia of Los Angeles, California, granddaughter Carolyn (Justin) Brown of Kamas, Utah, and granddaughter Liza Ginnings of Missoula, Montana.

Due to the current pandemic, a memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family desires donations to VNA Community Hospice Program, 753 Boston Post Road, Guilford, CT 06447 or the hospice provider of your choice.
