Dr. Martin W. Sklaire, 86, of Madison died Jan. 8 after a prolonged battle with Parkinson’s. He was the devoted husband of 54 years to Barbara (Klein) Sklaire.

Born in the Bronx, New York on Dec. 25, 1934, Dr. Sklaire was the beloved father of Michael Sklaire (Amy) and Karen Sklaire Watson (Mark) and dear brother of Naomi Gill and Daniel Sklaire. He adored his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Katie.

Dr. Sklaire practiced pediatrics in Madison for more than 40 years, was a nationwide leader in school health, and a lover of the cello and the Yankees.

Funeral services were held graveside at the Temple Beth Tikvah section of Beaverbrook Cemetery, Clinton. Memorial Contributions may be sent to Temple Beth Tikvah and The Michael J.
