Barbara Ann (Clark) Vincelette, of Clinton passed away Dec. 24, 2020, in Madison.

Barbara was born in New Haven July 10, 1934, to Carl Christian Clark, Sr., and Viola Hemstock Clark.

First and foremost, Barbara was a loving and involved mother of four sons, Robert Jr. (Barbara Menzies), William (Nancy Bell), Jeffrey (Patricia Spencer), and Thomas; grandmother to nine grandchildren, Shane (Kimberly), Erik (Jennifer), Troy (E.B.), Richard (Becky), Spencer (Ashley), Nicole, Daniel, Alexander, and Melissa; and four great-granddaughters, Sophia, Hailey, Savannah, and Julia.

She is survived by her sisters, Audrey Crosby of North Branford, Geraldine (Walter) Kukta of Clinton, and Patricia Parker of Wallingford; and many nieces and nephews.

She worked as a data processor for Unilever. Barbara loved her country, and oh how she loved her pool! She was an active member of The First Church of Christ of Clinton where she spent many years volunteering on any and all committees. Barbara was an active member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 66 for many years. She was an active mom teaching Sunday School and helping with Boys Scouts.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; William Tell Vincelette (son), Jeffrey Alyn Vincelette (son), Viola Snow (sister), Carl Christian Clark, Jr (brother), and Maynard Parker (brother-in-law).

The family will not be having a service at this time but will be having a Celebration of Barbara’s Life in the Summer of 2021.

Memorials may be given to American Legion Auxiliary Post 66, Clinton, CT.
