Elizabeth “Betty” Biagioli of Branford died Dec. 28, 2020, at the Guilford House. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Biagioli.

Betty was born Dec. 31, 1924, daughter of the late Rocco and Anna Donadio Palaia. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church in Branford.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Betty Finnegan and Ann Santa Barbara, both of Branford; her grandchildren, Kelly Finnegan, Brett (Jen) Finnegan, Ryan (Andrea) Finnegan, Paul (Tara) Santa Barbara, and Kristopher Santa Barbara; and her great-grandchildren, John F. Bloomquist; Skylar, Brayden, Maryn, and Madison Santa Barbara; and Liam, Christian, and Emmaline Finnegan. She is also survived by her sister Mary Rathbun of Branford and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons-in-law William Finnegan and Paul Santa Barbara and her brother Dr. Francis Palaia.

Private funeral services were held for her family. A memorial Mass will be held at a future date.
