Andrew Roy Ellison, 62, of Clinton passed away peacefully on Sept. 20, in the loving arms of his wife, three daughters, and granddaughter. He was born on Nov. 26, 1957.

Andy, aka “Woody,” was preceded by his siblings Millie, Andrea, Ana, and Michael; his mother Hellen Ellison, and father Roy Ellison. He is survived by his wife Cindy; daughters Jaimie, Jessica (Brett) Jensen, and Jackie (Jason) Rodriguez; granddaughter Gianna; sisters Catherine, Debbie (Steve) Burk, and Sherry (John) Battista; and many nieces and nephews.

Andy was a devoted father, husband and Poppy—they were his greatest joys in life. Andy was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending his free time out on his boat on Long Island Sound. He spent more than 40 years as a master wood craftsman, leaving a piece of his workmanship in countless homes in the coastal community. His gregarious and lively personality will be greatly missed by the countless people who were fortunate enough to be in his presence. He impacted so many lives on Shore Road in his 62 years and will be missed immensely. In the words of Andy, “See ya!!!”

Calling hours will be held on Friday, Sept. 25 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Swan Funeral Home, 80 E. Main St., Clinton. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 10 a.m. at Beaver Brook Cemetery, Rte. 145, Clinton.
