Donald L. Vauiso, 87, died at his home in St. Petersburg, Florida on Aug. 15 surrounded by his children.

He leaves behind his wife Dale; his five children, Mark Vauiso, David (Katina) Vauiso, Donna (Edward) Lynch, James (Robin) Vauiso, and Maura Vauiso; as well as 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Donald also leaves behind two sisters, Marion Wilson and Arleen Sebastian, both of Branford.

Donald graduated from East Haven High School in 1951.
