Jeffrey Michael Kinsley of Bluffton, South Carolina passed away suddenly on July 14. He was 56 years old. Jeff grew up in Clinton. He leaves his wife Carol Kinsley in Bluffton; his brother-in-law John Schofield; his sister-in-law Cindy Schofield; and Carol’s two sons, Will Sims and his family, and Evan Sims. He also leaves his sister Stephanie Kinsley Patterson in Clinton, and her children Chelsea Patterson and Christopher Patterson, and Christopher’s wife Danielle Giambrone; and his sister Martha Kinsley. He was predeceased by his parents George J. and Judith M. Kinsley, and his brother Peter D. Kinsley.

To say Jeff was an easy-going fellow is an understatement. He was warm-hearted, witty as can be, and his presence brightened the room. He had a rewarding career in the golf industry, and loved life in the Lowcountry with Carol even though he found it hard to leave Newport. He leaves countless friends who will miss him dearly. We imagine JK playing the links somewhere with George, Judy, and Pete with endless laughter followed by a round or two at the 19th cheering for the Red Sox or the Patriots.

A celebration of Jeff’s life took place in Bluffton. Arrangements were in the care of Sauls Funeral Home in Bluffton.
