Jessica Ruth Jamilkowski Bassett, 44, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Aug. 1 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife to Christopher Bassett and mother of Taryn and Pierce Bassett. Jessica was born in New Haven on Oct. 6, 1975, and she was the daughter of Robert and Linda Vogt Jamilkowski.

Jessica was a graduate of North Haven High school and Manhattanville College. She was a devoted member of Faith United Methodist Church in North Haven. Jessica enjoyed crafts and baking, but her first priority was her family. She was the sister of Christopher Jamilkowski, Jeremy (Lynne) Jamilkowski, and Joshua (Nora) Jamilkowski. She is also survived by her beloved niece Iris and two special cousins, Aimee and Christine.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith United Methodist Church, Memorial Garden, 81 Clintonville Rd., North Haven, CT 06473.
