Clinton

Evelyn Lundin, age 95 and a lifelong resident of Clinton, died at Connecticut Hospice, Branford, on April 8. She was born in Clinton in 1924 to Louis and Louise (Lins) Terray.

Evelyn is survived by her son Eric Lundin of Killingworth, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Eric Lundin, five brothers, and two sisters.

A graduate of The Morgan School, she worked at the New Departure defense plant in Guilford during World War II, as a bank teller in Madison, and was an accomplished pianist, artist, and gardener. Evelyn was a devoted mother and homemaker, and had a tremendous appreciation for her beloved pets and the nature around her, which she shared with her family and acquaintances.

Arrangements were private. Donations may be made in Evelyn’s memory to the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department Ambulance Division, 35 E. Main St., Clinton, CT 06413.
