05/07/2020 12:00 AMJean M. Edwards, 82, passed away on May 3. She was the widow of William Edwards of Deep River since 1965. Jean was born Nov. 22, 1937, in Middletown to Edward Adams and Murial Pollard Adams.
She was predeceased by her sister Margaret Bach and brother Edward Adams.
She graduated from Valley Regional High School in 1955. She retired from Chesebrough-Pond’s in 1999 after 39 years, and then worked at Whalen Engineering.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by daughter Deborah Lott and her husband Peter of Clinton, son Lewis and his wife Wendy of Chester, and daughter Lorretta and her husband Mike of Killingworth; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Services will be private.
