Brian A Major, 53, formerly of Deep River, lost his battle with cancer on April 18. He was born in Middletown to Bruce Major of Higganum and the late Judith Major (Warnke) of Deep River.

Brian graduated from Valley Regional High School and Vinal Tech in 1985. He worked for many years as a drafter at American Steel. He later received a CAD drafting degree from Three River’s College.

Brian was a unique person. He was very artistic with a gentle soul. He loved nature and all of its wonderment. His most favorable moments were times spent with his son.

Brian leaves behind his son Nathaniel Major of Middletown; his sister Emily Major and husband Joe Palmieri of Clinton; and father Bruce Major and stepmother June of Higganum. He also leaves nieces Fenna and Hollis Palmieri and many cousins.

Services will be a private graveside ceremony.
