Clinton

Michael David Robison, of Clinton, beloved father, son, and brother, passed on Feb. 11 with his family by his side.

Michael was born on May 31, 1969, in Manchester, to his parents Ron and Sandra McKay Robison. The family moved to Walnut, California, and Mike graduated from Walnut High School in 1987. The family returned to Clinton. Mike worked at Welding Works for 28 years. He loved his job. He started work there sweeping floors, and was promoted from general laborer to welder to lead man to assistant shop supervisor to supervisor. One of his greatest accomplishments was being lead, working, building, and completing the Winged Archway Monument in Kearney, Nebraska. Mike also worked on fencing around Central Park in New York City and art displays in Florida.

He leaves behind to mourn his loss his daughters Alexandra and Sydney Robison and his parents Ron and Sandy Robison, all of Clinton; brother Ron Robison of Old Lyme; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Jill Maselek, paternal grandparents Huston and Marge Robison, maternal grandparents Art and Arline McKay, and uncles Robbi Ray and Robin.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 8 p.m. at Swan Funeral Home, 80 E. Main St., Clinton. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery, (https://ccar.us/).
