John S. Corba, 62, of Deep River passed away at home on Jan. 3. He was a beloved son, brother, and boyfriend.

He leaves behind his sister Joanne and husband Mark Kochiss and family of Prospect; a stepfather, Homer Mills of Old Saybrook; stepbrothers Scott Mills, James Mills, John Mills and their spouses and families of Florida; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Most of all he leaves behind his devoted girlfriend Marie Bordonaro of Middletown.

John was predeceased by his mother Kathyleen Mills-Squashic of Old Saybrook, his father John Corba, and a brother, Thomas Corba, both of Stratford.

He was a hard working man who loved to paint, cook, watch sports, go fishing, and in his spare time restore furniture.

John will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He will be forever in our hearts.
