Westbrook

Lynn Breton Fucci passed away on Dec. 31 after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 17, 1958. Lynn grew up and attended schools in Old Saybrook, and was the daughter of the late Robert and Maureen (LaPlace) Breton. She graduated from Mercy High School and went on to get her bachelor of arts degree. At the time of her death, Lynn was a claims representative for CIRMA in New Haven for the past 14 years.

Lynn had an infectious smile and her kindness touched many. She loved ballroom dancing, animals, music, the beach, friends, and most of all she loved her family. Her grandson held a very special place in her heart.

She leaves behind her loving husband Robert of Westbrook; daughter Brittany Jermainne and grandson Dominic of Old Saybrook; daughter Abby Jermainne and fiancé Steve Consolo of Marlborough, Massachusetts; stepson Robert, his wife Ilona, and granddaughter Matilde Fucci of Amsterdam, the Netherlands; sister and brother-in-law Ann and Andy Roussel of Ivoryton; her nephew Breton and his wife Lauren Roussel of Cranston, Rhode Island; and niece Taryn and her husband Ben Tarlov of Arlington, Virginia.

A Memorial Celebration of Lynn’s life was held on Jan. 4. The outpouring of love and support from the many friends and family during this celebration was, and continues to be, a testament to how many people Lynn touched. She will be dearly missed. While her spark may no longer be visible, her impact on friends and family continues.
