Betty Staib, 87, of Clinton passed away peacefully on Dec. 16, 2019. Betty was the daughter of the late Delmar and Dora Coburn.

When Betty was 18, She left Vermont for Hartford, where she met her husband Robert. One of Betty’s life joys was babysitting and she was especially fond of the babies. To the children she cared for she was affectionately known as “Grandma Betty.” Betty also loved to bake pies when time allowed.

Betty is survived by her three children, six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
