Chester

Frederick W. Berlepsch, Jr., 67, West Main Street, Chester, died unexpectedly Dec. 18 in Middlesex Hospital. Mr. Berlepsch was born on June 18, 1952, the son of Frederick and Elizabeth (Usher) Berlepsch.

He was known as bigfoot by many at RR Donnelley Printing in Old Saybrook, where he worked for many years as a pressman. He enjoyed NASCAR and the outdoors.

Mr. Berlepsch is predeceased by his loving wife Kathy and his only son Kenny. He is survived by his sisters Donna Berlepsch and her husband Randy Wilson, and Ethel Berlepsch both of Chester, and Sharron Larrow of Minnesota; and brother Douglas Berlepsch of Ohio. He is also survived by friends Tim and Donna Glynn and his dog Precious.

A Celebration of Mr. Berlepsch’s life will be held on Sunday, Dec. 29 at 3:00 p.m. in Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd., Old Saybrook. A visiting hour will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Please visit www.swanfh.com for tributes and directions.
